How Can You Raid on Project DayZ Reborn?

On this server we decided to implement a unique raid system. The core concept is identifying a closed perimeter, meaning an area that cannot be accessed through the interaction vault action (space bar). This means you must build carefully, because crossing the perimeter is allowed whenever interaction (vaulting) is possible, even with static world objects. Outside these exceptions, a closed perimeter can only be breached or destroyed using explosive charges. Tents locked with CodeLock can instead be raided with a hacksaw.

Not allowed during raids:

  • Using other players' shoulders
  • Vehicles
  • Any placeable objects
  • Building structures to bypass a closed perimeter

This raid system is tied to a dedicated crafting system based on two types of explosive charges, one improvised and one military. Crafting list:

  • Pickaxe + rock (found on the map) = Large Stones
  • 1 x Large Stone + Pickaxe = Small Stone
  • 2 x Small Stones + Sledgehammer = Charcoal Powder
  • 8 x Large Stones + Sledgehammer = Sulfur Powder
  • 1 x Charcoal Powder + 1 x Sulfur Powder = 1 x Gunpowder
  • 5 x Gunpowder + Burlap Sack = Improvised Explosive Block
  • 1 x Improvised Explosive + 1 x Shortwave Radio = Improvised Explosive Charge (5 HP damage)
  • 1 x Electronic Repair Kit + Code Lock = 1 x Detonator
  • 5 x Gunpowder + Iron Pipe = Dynamite Stick (can also be found as loot)
  • 5 x Gunpowder + Dynamite = 1 x C4 Block
  • 2 x C4 Blocks + 1 x Duct Tape = Completed C4 Block
  • 1 x Completed C4 Block + Detonator = Unarmed C4
  • 1 x Unarmed C4 + Electronic Repair Kit = Heavy Explosive Charge (10 HP damage)

Structure health values on Project DayZ Reborn:

  • Vanilla wooden fence = 25 HP
  • Vanilla metal fence = 45 HP
  • All Base Building Plus wooden structures = 35 HP
  • All Base Building Plus metal structures = 55 HP
  • All Base Building Plus concrete structures = 75 HP
  • MooreDoor single improvised wooden door = 15 HP
  • MooreDoor single refined wooden door = 25 HP
  • MooreDoor single metal door = 35 HP

Base Fortification

  • All Base Fortification crafts have 20 HP durability

    Remember that charges require 1 minute to be planted and 3 minutes to explode. Once planted, single charges can be defused using the base-game pliers.
